National Engineering Reasearch Center of Chemical Fertilizer Catalyst (NERCCFC) was founded in 1996 by Professor Wei Kemei, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and his fellow colleagues. Backed by Fuzhou University, NERCCFC focuses on the research, development and commercialization of chemical fertilizer catalyst technologies, such as synthetic ammonia catalysts, water-gas shift catalysts, and more. NERCCFC's strong engineering capability allows streamlined scale-up of new products and technologies toward mature, full commercial production.
NERCCFC offers high efficiency, energy saving, eco-friendly and economic solutions for fertilizer, ammonia synthesis, photocatalysis, automotive emission reduction and related fields. It also provides computerized automation systems for small to medium sized synthetic ammonia manufacturers.
NERCCFC is located in the Planned Industrial Zone of Fuzhou University, with a total assets worth RMB50 million. It is composed of Industrial Catalyst Research Institute, Photocatalyst Research Institute, Industrial Control Research Institute and Fujian Fuda Catalyst Factory.
